Crossword Together is a multiplayer crossword game.
Playing a crossword is fun but playing a crossword with friends is more fun. It introduces social elements into the classic game and gives a more interesting experience. Crossword Together works like you are hosting a game room. You share the room ID with friends. And the friends join your room with room ID you gave them. Then you play the crossword together.
Create the game:
If you have the .puz file in your phone, choose the upload button at bottom of the “Create” screen and navigate to your puz file. In this way you uploaded the puzzle privately or publicly. Now you are in the “Play” screen and you can play the puzzle by yourself. To invite friends to join, click the “Add Friend” button on the top right of the screen and you will see the game ID. You can share the message with your friends via whatever way you like.
If you don’t have a puzzle and just want to play some random puzzle with your friends, you can explore what other people are playing. Some people share their crossword puzzle publicly and you can use them.
To have more fun with the game, you need some regular puz sources of your own. Some are paid subscriptions for example NT Times and there are tons of free puzzles available too.

Share the game:
Click the “Add Friend” button on the top right in the puzzle playing screen. Share the game ID with your friends.
Join a game:
Click the “Join” button and input the game ID. Wait for a while and you will be able to play the game your friend created.
Change your name:
You start the game with a random generated name. You can change when playing the puzzle. Just click your name label and an input box will appear. You can also customize your color in the similar way. You friends will see your cursor in the color you set.
Chat:
There is a simple message board for each game. Use it to discuss the puzzle.
Play:
Touch the clue and you will switch between down and across direction, downforacross .
