After the New update I can't add money to the app. My previous debit card details are no longer there and need to re-add card details. When trying to add R500 it took me to the add credit/debit card section but the total amount only stated R10 instead of R500 so I cancelled the amount. What's going on and why does it use Google Wallet? **Older versions was better and user friendly. This new update is TERRIBLE and UNFRIENDLY to use!

The app improved evwry upgrade there still are glitches whereby points disappear etc. Note also in Africa Gold membership states free upgrades/swapout for a non dairy milk however I am on gold and always being charged R10 extra for almond milk (a non dairy milk) per their own membership T&C. The Gateway, Umhlanga store is always freezing & pitiful staff are always sick AND its never sorted, its an apparent air conditioning issue AND their wifi is always patchy and/off.

App works just fine. But, the links do not work. An error message "Oops, item is currently unavailable for preview", which is frustrating. Will it not be possible to have an option on the app to tip when paying with the app, since Starbucks is now cashless, it feels like this is necessary.

This is one of the worst Android apps that I have ever used. I went to Starbucks today and swapped my FNB voucher for a Frappuccino and wanted to pay the difference with the Starbucks app. My balance showed as R38 when I opened the app, which was more than sufficient for the R21 price difference, but then the Starbucks employee told me that my balance was only R17. I closed the app and opened it again and it showed my balance as R17. This is unacceptable.

App not sending email to allow for password reset; impossible to sign in on existing account

First of all it took me a hole hour to sign in I lost it when I got in there was no coffee I don't know if it's because it's night but still omg don't waste your time I will edit tomorrow morning and see if there is coffee or food omg Edit: waited like a week still nothing

I get the something went wrong error when trying to add a payment card to add money to the app. Tried multiple times. Update June '24: app still logs out and asks the same questions each time. Now it doesn't even refresh when you add money at the till, have to log out and log back in. Wasting everyone's time. Not to mention I still can't add money myself on the app using AMEX.

Update: 5 months later and the app still doesn't work, it seems as though Starbucks doesnt even care about taking my money, thats why they wont get my bisiness, id rather go to Seattle. The worst experience ever, Starbucks is happy to take my money but every time I walk into a store, the app requires me to sign in again, and then promptly errors out on sign in. Starbucks seems to care more about taking my money than providing a secure but frictionless sign in experience - it can be done!

I constantly have to reset my password to get the app to work. Even so, it works once and then It never allows me to login. Session expire almost immediately after a few seconds of trying to login. Very disappointing app.
