As part of the market development programme for small businesses, a trade mission trip for companies from the games & digital media sector will take place in Israel from 3rd to 6th of in September 2018.
The market development programme is financially supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) on the basis of a resolution of the German Bundestag. Companies in the industry are to be supported in the focused market exploration and in initial contact initiation in Israel.
The Israeli Games & Digital Media industry benefits from the great local start-up scene. It meets during the DLD Tel Aviv Innovation Festival, which brings together the "who's who" of digital media and technology. Thus Israel occupies a leading position in many areas: sensors (for recording movements, emotions, wellness etc.), big data (for online marketing, simplifying user databases etc.), computer vision and video analysis (VR, AR, etc.), artificial intelligence, IOT and many more. Israel is thus positioning itself as an attractive target market not only for products and services, but also for talent acquisition, technology cooperation and co-development.
The game - Verband der deutschen Games-Branche e.V. supports the trip as a specialist partner from Germany. The professional partner on the Israeli side is the association GameIS.}
