Sudoku aka Number Place, is a combination logic-based number sorting puzzle game. Sudoku will be given several numbers and in any position. The player's task is to fill in the numbers in a 9×9 grid so that each row, each column, and each of the nine 3×3 subgrids that make up the main grid contain all the digits from 1 to 9.
Sudoku first appeared in the US under the name "Number Place" - Number Place. It was later imported into Japan and renamed Sudoku by publisher Nikoli, which means unique because each box has a unique number. Over time, Sudoku has become a favorite brain game in many countries.
People who regularly play crosswords and sudoku show more acumen on tests of memory, attention, and reasoning. Their brains also exhibited higher processing speed and accuracy.
