The intelligent option for controlling your Vaillant heat pump heating, ventilation or cooling system via an app and for ensuring that you are always kept up to date with its the operating status and system information.
The multiMATIC (VRC 700) app offers you the following functions:
Freedom and flexibility
Make sure that your Vaillant heating system is at your desired thermal comfort level at any time and even when you are out and about. You no longer need to worry about unnecessary energy consumption – with the multiMATIC (VRC 700) app, you can always be energy-conscious.
Easily set time programmes for heating, domestic hot water, circulation, cooling and ventilation either on the control or via the app.
Numerous special functions allow you to quickly and manually make adjustments without having to change the programming.
ambiSENSE single-room temperature control
With the ambiSENSE components, which are available separately, you can enhance and optimise your entire heating system, and you can use the multiMATIC (VRC 700) app for each individual room to set the required comfortable temperature. ambiSENSE also helps you to save on heating costs.
Define your individual comfortable temperature for each room. Once this is reached, the heating system automatically switches to standby mode. If cold air flows into the room via open windows, the system responds and automatically restricts the heat supply.

Report/energy consumption and yield
For units in the Green IQ series, the multiMATIC (VRC 700) app visualises the predicted gas and electricity consumption for heating and domestic hot water (ecoTEC exclusive as of July 2015), or the environmental yield and electrical consumption (flexoTHERM and flexoCOMPACT heat pumps). Solar yield data is provided for the VPM-S, VPM-D and VPM-W solar pump stations.
Operational safety
The app notifies you about the status of your heating system. This includes operational irregularities, information about when maintenance is required, and preventive messages.
Certified data security
Tested and certified with the Smart Home seal from the VDE. Certified protection of privacy and confidential data.
What are the prerequisities for using the multiMATIC (VRC 700) app, and which heating systems are compatible?
The following systems are compatible: All eBUS-compatible heat generators (manufactured from 2007 onwards) with one or more heating circuits in combination with the VR 900/920 Internet communication module and the multiMATIC 700 (VRC 700) control. Multi-circuit installations and solar systems require suitable wiring centres as well.
Units that cannot be combined with the multiMATIC 700 (VRC 700) control are not compatible, such as zeoTHERM and geoTHERM. This also includes older controls, such as the calorMATIC 470 (VRC 470), calorMATIC 630 (VRC 630) and auroMATIC 620.}
