metroexpress is a ride-sharing on demand service designed to allow metro users to use their smart phone/tablets to order rides from any place within West Bay, to DECC and West Bay QIC metro stations, and vice versa. The system takes multiple passengers heading in the same direction and books them into a shared vehicle.
The vehicle is smart enough to come when you want it and where you want it, calculating the most direct route possible with shortest possible travel time. Rides will be complementary basis and only for registered Doha metro users.
Just download the metroexpress app today, book your seat and go from anywhere in the West Bay area to the two aforementioned metro stations and then onto metro network to reach destinations across Doha. It is as easy as click and go.
metroexpress is a new way of traveling powered by technology-enabled vehicle that comes to a place near you, when and where you need it.

How does metroexpress work?
1. Register: Simply input your name, e-mail and mobile number to register. Please note that you need to be a registered Doha Metro user.
2. Book a ride: Use the metroexpress app to set your pick-up and drop off within our service area. We’ll match you with a metroexpress driver headed your way and will direct you to a nearby point to meet your driver.
3. Get picked up: Within minutes, the metroexpress arrives at the designated pickup and you are on your way. These pickup locations are easily accessible and generally located in front of the towers in the West Bay or within your villa compounds.
4. Share the ride: We pool passengers into the same car efficiently and with minimal detours, bringing each passenger to their destination while keeping our journey times comparable to a taxi. Up to 7 passengers can ride in one vehicle. However, if there are no passengers to pool, then metroexpress will take you directly to the intended metro station or any destination within the service area.
