Vivo Token é um aplicativo para dispositivos móveis gerador de OTP (One-Time Password) aderente ao padrão OATH, que oferece suporte a múltiplos tokens e métodos de autenticação organizados na forma de um catálogo.
Proporciona segurança nas transações realizadas entre empresas e seus clientes.
Os métodos de autenticação forte disponíveis são:
• OATH OTP por Tempo

• OCRA (OATH Challenge Response Authentication) – Desafio/Resposta
• Transaction Signing (baseado no algoritmo OCRA)
A aplicação funciona como um token OTP tipo chaveiro, porém com muitas vantagens:
• Dispensa a aquisição e distribuição de tokens físicos
• Possui mecanismo anti-clonagem, que impede a cópia do token de um dispositivo para outro
• Possui canal seguro muito além de SSL para baixar o token
• O Processo de sincronização do relógio ocorre no servidor de autenticação
• Mecanismo de auto sincronização que evita a sincronização manual
• protegido por senha definida pelo usuário
