The Oprol (Sabariya) language community people mainly inhabits in the state of Chhattisgarh. The population of the Oprol Language Community is around 1,50,000 in Chhattisgarh. The major population of the Oprol Language Community is found in Janjgir-Champa, Baloda Bazar, Sarangarh districts of Chhattisgarh State. And few of them are found in Bilaspur and Raigarh districts of this state. These people are basically dependent on agricultural work, daily wage and wine-making for their economy and food. Oprol Language belongs to Dravidian Family settled among Indo-Aryan family. This language has similarities with Telugu and this language is a mixture of Telugu, Hindi and Chhattisgarhi languages but still has differences in culture and other aspects. Oprol Language People use their language only among themselves as the local people don’t understand this language. This language is written using Dev Nagari Script. The translation of the Bible into Oprol language has been done by a team of experts. The team took the help of native speakers. The language used has been tested in villages for intelligence. The texts of this Bible have gone through a series of tests and the focus of this translation is for naturalness, accuracy and clarity. The translation is approved by a translation committee consisting of native language-speaking local leaders, a teacher and lay men. We dedicate this translation to the Oprol community for the extension of the Kingdom of God among this people group. We pray that people will be transformed into the image of Christ as they read and understand Scripture. We want the body of Christ in the Oprol community to be prepared for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
ओप्रोल (सबरिया) भाषा समुदाय के लोग ज्यादातर छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य में रहते हैं। छत्तीसगढ़ में ओप्रोल भाषा समुदाय की जनसंख्या लगभग 1,50,000 है। इनकी मुख्य जनसंख्या छत्तीसगढ़ के जांजगीर-चांपा, बलोदा बाजार और सारंगढ़ जिलों में पाई जाती है। कुछ लोग बिलासपुर और रायगढ़ जिलों में भी रहते हैं। ये लोग ज्यादातर खेती, दैनिक मजदूरी और शराब बनाने पर निर्भर रहते हैं। ओप्रोल भाषा द्रविड़ परिवार से है, लेकिन यह इंडो-आर्यन परिवार के बीच में पाई जाती है। इस भाषा में तेलुगु की कुछ समानताएं हैं और यह तेलुगु, हिंदी और छत्तीसगढ़ी का एक मिश्रण है, हालांकि इसमें संस्कृति और कुछ और पहलुओं में फर्क भी है। ओप्रोल भाषा के लोग इसे सिर्फ अपने बीच ही इस्तेमाल करते हैं, क्योंकि बाकी लोग इस भाषा को नहीं समझते। यह भाषा देवनागरी लिपि में लिखी जाती है। ओप्रोल भाषा में बाइबल का अनुवाद कुछ एक्सपर्ट्स की टीम ने किया है। इस टीम ने स्थानीय बोलने वालों की मदद ली। भाषा को सही तरीके से समझने के लिए इसे गांवों में टेस्ट किया गया था। बाइबल के इस अनुवाद को कई टेस्टों से गुजरने के बाद ध्यान दिया गया कि यह सटीक, स्पष्ट और स्वाभाविक हो। इस अनुवाद को एक कमिटी ने मंजूरी दी है, जिसमें स्थानीय नेता, एक शिक्षक और कुछ सामान्य लोग शामिल हैं। हम इस अनुवाद को ओप्रोल समुदाय को समर्पित करते हैं, ताकि उनके बीच परमेश्वर के राज्य का विस्तार हो सके। हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि जैसे-जैसे लोग बाइबल पढ़ेंगे और समझेंगे, वे मसीह के रूप में बदल जाएं। हम चाहते हैं कि ओप्रोल समुदाय का मसीही शरीर हमारे प्रभु और उद्धारक यीशु मसीह के आगमन के लिए तैयार हो।
