App Info:
The App takes a league's standings, tiebreaker info, and schedule data to analyze playoff/title/etc. races. There are two access levels, Basic (as installed) and Premium (US$3.99/yr). Before upgrading insure that the data from desired league(s) can be imported and basic calculations can be made as there may be some strange league settings or hosting site options that aren't compatible.
Features - ALL levels:
Data import from popular fantasy hosting sites (ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper, My Fantasy, Fleaflicker, NFL Fantasy, Fantrax, Reality Sports Online, and FPL), several professional leagues (including NFL and Premier League), and a Google Sheets template for others. Works with multi-conference / multi-division leagues.
Customizable set-up of tiebreakers and other playoff race details.
Calculations can include such tiebreakers as head-to-head, division and conference records, points for/against, points/goal difference, all-play, and more.
"Best-in-Division" (e.g. MyFantasy) calculation methods supported.
Calculations - BASIC level:
Approximate odds for each team to win the title, division and/or make the playoffs. A "what-if" feature allows users to see what the picture would look like with their chosen scenarios.
Additional Features - PREMIUM level:
Median scoring calculations supported (see web site for limitations and restrictions).
NFL-style "Paths-to-clinch" listings of what needs to happen for teams to clinch a spot/title/etc.
PDF reports.
Definitive Clinched / Eliminated status info.
Additional team details such as wins/points needed to have any chance or that would guarantee a spot, whether they must win out, whether they control their own destiny, and projected targets to aim for.
League Requirements:
To function as intended, a league should:
1) Play a head-to-head schedule. Median scoring is supported. Ideally one game per round but doubleheader leagues (if not Median) are supported (the "paths-to-clinch" report can get complicated).
2) Standings sorted firstly either by winning percentage or league points (e.g. soccer).
3) Award all playoff spots by standings rankings (leagues that award additional spots based on points can be used but calculations will only show spots awarded by standings sort).
4) Have all teams play the same number of games.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) There is a reason this type of App exists nowhere else. The formulas and processes used are complex and unorthodox. In order to achieve results, the App requires a tremendous amount of computing resources from a device for sometimes an extended amount of time. It is completely the user's risk and discretion to subject a device to this type of use.
2) For ease of use with fantasy sports and professional leagues, the App gets data from third party APIs, such as league hosting sites. While changes are not anticipated, there is no guarantee that API access to any hosting site or other data provider will continue for any length of time and such risks shall be born by the purchaser.
2) The developer has taken great pains to adapt the App to the varying rules and methods used by multiple fantasy sports hosting sites such as sorting standings and applying tiebreakers. As some sites do not disclose their particular methods there may be instances in which the App's calculation methods do not match exactly those of a particular hosting site's and no representation of complete accuracy in calculations is made. Any differences should be negligible.
4) With the infinite number of league options and scenarios the App may be asked to calculate, complete testing is impossible. It is believed everything is in order but no warranty or representation is made that the App will function as intended for any specific league.}
