Dumb Phone App Launcher

The most Simple Home Screen you can imagine. It’s on point: that’s actually the app’s name, it’s just “ . ” a dot – a point. Add your most important + least distracting apps within the app. Download + set the wallpaper. Remove all apps from your dock. And add both the small + large widget to your home screen. It’s super minimalistic. You gonna love it. It breaks your phone habits. Makes you think twice what you actually want to do with your phone. I would love to have more functionality and customization like The compositor apps like dumb phone do .

I love this app! It was an effort to make my phone less inviting and exciting so I was use it less. It has certainly helped. I even like the short lag it takes to go through a shortcut, because - again - I want my phone to be a little less convenient and fun so that I will use it less. BUT after the last update, the Spotify button no longer works. It used to launch the app, just fine. Now it opens Safari to the Spotify website. Please fix. I use that button daily and it not working is very annoying.

Since the iOS update, neither mail nor Safari can be opened anymore. I reported it via the website but didn't even get an answer :( it was 5 stars up to that bug, now it feels a bit like waste of money.

Funktioniert in 2 von 5 malen nicht. Das ist völlig inakzeptabel für den Preis von 10€

I am a lifetime member. The general idea is great. Minimal Home Screen, and no notifications. The interface for adding apps is straightforward and customizable. However, the app opening is clunky. It’s not possible to natively add every single app. So, the custom apps via shortcuts is great, right? Not so much. Clicking an app via the widgets while running via shortcuts / automation will make on point visibly open for about a second or two before opening the desired app. Although short, this is frustrating! The worst offender is Firefox Focus. So, I have to either live with this clunky delay with automation on, or not support custom apps. Please improve this if possible. Note: iPhone 12 running iOS 17.5.1

Not perfect obviously but about as good as can be expected given the built in IOS limitations. Not hard to figure out if you have a little bit of patience. Will continue to use this.

Es ist sehr interessant. Die Abstände passen nicht ganz und es wirkt alles noch nicht ganz ausgereift aber ich mag das Konzept!

I appreciate the dev working on an update to help with the shortcut delay, but it’s still a bit too long for me personally. Hopefully iOS 18 will give back the previous functionality.

Here’s a big update for on point: Here’s what’s new in detail: - Many target apps can now open directly without being redirected to on point first. - New app icon that works in light mode / dark mode / tinted mode. - Ensure compatibility with the new iOS. - App randomization: if enabled, every time you open an app, apps are randomly re-positioned. - There’s still a workaround to add custom apps via Shortcuts Automation, in case you can’t figure out a url scheme. – Frederik
