There are 150 audio points that play automatically, featuring what to see, stories, tips and advice. All the benefits of a guided tour, the freedom to drive yourself. Visit www.gypsyguide.com for route maps, sample audio, tips and advice and what to know before you go. TOUR GUIDE AS YOU DRIVE THE CANADIAN ROCKIES If you like driving yourself when you go sightseeing, GyPSy Guide™ tour apps allow you to enjoy a guided tour experience while remaining totally independent. By driving yourself, you'll be able to get from place to place faster, see more things and not be tied to anyone else's schedule. DON'T MISS OUT ON THE BEST SIGHTS AND STORIES The tour apps use your device’s location abilities to play the commentary AUTOMATICALLY. All you have to do is drive, listen and decide which places you want to stop at. Our tour guides have created insightful and entertaining tours of the Rockies. We’ll recommend the best places to see and some great locations that most visitors don't get to see. PLAYS AUTOMATICALLY GyPSy Guide knows where you are and which direction you are heading, and plays commentary automatically about the things you are seeing, plus stories and tips and advice. EXPLORE LIKE A LOCAL It’s just like having a local friend to show you around. And that friend just happens to be a professional tour guide. GREAT VALUE The same information you would get on a bus tour or from a guide book, for just a fraction of the price. And you control the itinerary and schedule. WORKS OFFLINE No data, cellular or even wireless network connection needed while touring. Download over Wi-Fi before you tour. Anyone can use them with no need for roaming data – even visiting from another country. DRIVING TOUR ROUTE The tour includes the most popular sightseeing stops and many more: 1) Athabasca Falls 2) Sunwapta Falls 3) Stutfield Glacier 4) Columbia Icefields and Ice Explorer 5) Peyto Lake 6) Bow Lake and Crowfoot Glacier This tour starts at the Highway 1 exit onto 93N (Icefields Parkway) outside of Lake Louise. Join 93N from Jasper by driving south from the town. Its is popular to do this tour as a day trip by driving from Banff or Lake Louise to the Columbia Icefields Centre and back. CANADIAN ROCKIES GyPSy Guide Tours This tour is a part of a set of tour apps by GyPSy Guide to explore the Canadian Rockies National Parks. Other tours in the series include: * Banff, Lake Louise and Yoho National Park * Banff Townsite and area * Jasper National Park For BEST VALUE, you may prefer to download the Canadian Rockies GyPSy Guide which includes all of these too. NOTES Download the app on Wi-Fi from your network at home or use any free Wi-Fi network. Because the app is filled with audio commentary and maps, its larger than "normal" apps. Many phone/data networks may block the download because of size - so its important to download over a Wi-Fi network. ++ Continued use of GPS running in the background increases battery usage - we strongly recommend taking a cigarette style (DC outlet) car charger. This is much better than simply plugging into the USB port in a vehicle. ** iPad users - please note that WiFi-only iPads will not activate the commentary automatically. Any iPhone or network-capable iPad (WiFi + Cellular - whether you have a network connection or not) will work just fine. ABOUT US GyPSy Guide™ produce award winning audio tours along scenic drives around the world. Enjoyed by travelers who prefer to set their own pace and itinerary on vacation, but enjoy a fun, informative and educational guided experience. Our goal is to provide a great introduction to the region and perhaps inspire you to learn more and return. None of our apps include paid advertising or placements for benefit.}

What a great trip. It was so nice to know the details of stops along the way! Like how far a walk and if the stop is picture worthy! Sure made the trip relaxing without any FMO (Fear of Missing Out!). Cheers Shelley

Great way to learn more about what you see from your car. Narrator only talks when there is something interesting to say. Makes great suggestions of where to stop to look at something. Really glad we found this app. It made the trip so meaningful!

We first heard about GyPSy Guide when we went from Banff to Jasoer. We found it incredibly informative and entertaining. When there’s something to see (or a hike) “Fred” tells you when, what, how... and if it’s worth doing. When there’s nothing much to specifically look at, he’ll fill time with historical stories, oddities, lore, geology, biology, etc! So on our first trip to Hawaii, when I really didn’t know where we were or what to see or do, I got the island package and first used it on Kauai. I really can’t say enough superlative words about the app. As good (or better?) even then the jasper road one. While it was more obvious on the road to Jasper when there was a waterfall or viewpoint, how it worked because there was only one road, it worked just as beautifully with choices of places and directions and limited time. “Fred” helped us choose where to go, gave us lots of information about the history, culture, geology, and flora/fauna and weather. It tells you what is a must see and what to do or pass up depending on time. He speaks with humor and has a good voice. I like how he reminds of previous stories and continues them at various points. It was great for our 2 days on Oahu and then the 7 days on the Big Island. “Fred” even did a great job of explaining not only what to see in Volcano National Park and how to use our limited time wisely, but also about the important geology, history and biology related to the park. I seriously will purchase every single one available for every road trip or vacation we do from now on!!!!
