This new bundle brings together three ready-made activity sets based on the BETT Award winning software from Inclusive Technology.
The three ChooseIt! Apps, Literacy, Numeracy and Science between them contain 640 teacher designed activities offering a total of 14,000 pages of simple multiple choice activities.
With their consistent presentation, clear language, switch accessibility and full audio support they are a valuable resource for children with special educational needs.
Key features in each App:
• Accessible using touch or one and two switch scanning (using available Bluetooth switch interfaces).
• Clearly spoken and written questions.
• Clear layout, ample sized touch areas with a minimum of distraction to allow the child to focus on the activity.
• Simple, multiple choice activities carefully graded in small steps.
• Ideal for learners with visual and perceptual difficulties.
• Simple reporting is built-in, just save results to the camera roll.
• Designed by experienced teachers to provide a structured approach to develop basic understanding in the key areas of literacy, numeracy and foundation concepts in science
Each activity has a graded sequence of 20 to 40 simply presented multiple-choice questions, which are structured using a positive reinforcement strategy. Correct answers give an animated reward and spoken reinforcement.
ChooseIt! Literacy
This App covers eight key areas to help develop and consolidate basic skills and takes a traditional approach to phonics.
LISTENING SKILLS:
Practise matching and identifying environmental sounds including voices and music.
INITIAL SOUNDS:
Covers the sounds of the 26 letters, both individually spoken and spoken at the beginning of words.
INITIAL LETTERS:
This useful activity set looks at the matching and recognition of written letters A-Z.
INITIAL BLENDS: SOUNDS:
This activity set covers the sounds of the 26 most common initial consonant blends.
INITIAL BLENDS: LETTERS:
Covers matching and recognition of written blends
TRICKY HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS:
Multiple choice activities to practice recognition of tricky high frequency words.
ALPHABET:
Focussing on learning the names of the 26 letters and on dictionary skills.
EVERYDAY WORDS:
Provides practice in recognising and spelling everyday words for colour, number, days and months.
ChooseIt Numeracy
These activities were designed by a teacher and Maths ICT Coordinator with over 20 years’ experience in special schools.

These 25 activities cover colour, 2D and 3D shape.
SHAPE, SPACE & MEASURE:
Covers matching and recognition of geometric 2D and 3D shapes.
EARLY NUMBER:
32 activities about numbers one to three.
NUMBER 0 TO 5:
21 graded activities, counting on, counting back and numeral recognition.
NUMBER 5 TO 10:
Counting sets, counting on (rote counting), numeral recognition and simple addition up to 10.
NUMBER 0 TO 100:
23 activities based around the 100 square.
MONEY (UK ONLY):
Over 25 activities about money, from coin recognition to working out change. Includes ‘What can you afford?’ activities.
TIME:
24 activities around clock time and also includes an activity on weeks, months and seasons.
ChooseIt! Science
Over 150 activities dealing with the world around us, animals, people, materials, forces, light, sound and space.
FOUNDATION LIVING THINGS:
32 simple activities which introduce the topics of human beings, animals and plants.
LIVING THINGS:
Further activities which develop the knowledge gained from the previous activity-set.
MATERIALS:
Everyday materials and their properties.
FORCES AND ELECTRICITY
30 graded activities covering electricity and various forces.
LIGHT, SOUND AND SPACE:
