Objective: Players aim to take the exact number of tricks they bid at the beginning of each round.
Dealing:
Played with a standard 52-card deck.
The number of cards dealt decreases from 10 down to 1 and then increases back up to 10 over 19 rounds.
Trump suit is determined by turning up the top card of the remaining deck after dealing.
Bidding:
Players bid on how many tricks they will take.
The last player to bid cannot make a bid that allows everyone to fulfill their bids exactly.
Gameplay:
Players must follow suit if possible.
The highest card of the leading suit wins the trick, unless a trump card is played.
Trump cards can be led from the start.
Scoring:
1 point per trick taken.
10 bonus points for matching the exact bid.
No bonus for taking fewer or more tricks than bid.
Winning:
The game is played over 19 rounds.
The player with the most points at the end of the 19th round wins.
If there’s a tie, multiple winners are possible.
Enjoy your game of Oh, Hell!}
