Containing all 300 hymns of the shona hymn book, Kristu muNdwiyo is fully searchable by titles, numbers, choruses and favourites.
This application offers you the unique opportunity to contribute testimonies, Hymn history, Choruses and Hymn related commentary to share with other users ….. all with inspirational scrolling verses for each of the songs.
Have you ever been out there and felt you wanted to sing a certain Shona hymn, but can’t remember the words? Or wished you could store your favourite hymns electronically? Maybe you wished you could share your testimonies with fellow Kristu muNdwiyo users? Ever wondered who wrote your favourite hymns? Or the parts of scripture that inspired each of these hymns? Then look no further because this application enables you to do all the above.

- Selection of hymn history and commentary and option to contribute your own commentary.
- Ability to search within the titles, choruses, and favourites.
- Ability to choose a hymn by typing the corresponding number.
- Use of buttons to navigate to next or previous songs.
- Support of Portrait and Landscape modes.
- Use of zoom for legibility.
Usage:
After launching the application, you can choose a hymn by using the title listing (which is searchable), number, chorus and Favourites tabs. Touching on the hymn launches a display of the lyrics with scrolling verses. This is the main area of the Hymnal, from where you sing the chosen song. You can choose to go back to choose a different hymn or use the options button to take you further to more information about the hymn. You can also add or remove favourites using the options button. More interestingly, the info section brings up Author Names and images together with a brief history/testimony/commentary of the current hymn. To submit your own contribution just click on the email link to send us your item using your default IPhone email.}

Some bugs were eaten by our favourite packupine:
• fixes bug that would not allow composer to work
• allows entry of proper weights again (please use a . as decimal separator, even in metric countries)
• now requires iOS 13.2
