The LOCO MITRA is for management of Electric/Diesel Locomotive for Loco Maintenance, Operation, Schedules Planning, Execution and Monitoring. Currently its work some few sheds like TRIP SHED.
Sometimes Trip shed Incharge or Shift Supervisor of any Trip Shed is not available at the office desktop for feeding input for the inward/work done/outward of the Loco due to busy in the Loco or yard. Feeding of input in the Trip Shed module gets delayed and not in real time manner. There is requirement of a user friendly mobile app to be developed to feed and capture activities on loco performed in trip shed. Following functionalities are being taken up in this module: A. Trip Shed Loco Movement (e.g. Inward, activities perform, outward of loco) B. Trip Shed Movement History (Past history of loco outward from tripshed) C. Loco Master report D. Find Loco (For getting status of individual loco) User Manual for operating above module with screen shot of functionality is documented. “लोको मित्र (SLAM)” Mobile app will be operational to authorized registered “लोको मित्र (SLAM)” application users. Existing SLAM Trip Shed users i.e. Trip Shed Incharge, Shift Supervisors, Sr. Technicians are enabled to operate this application. Creation of new trip shed user shall be done through SLAM web application.}
