LastPass Authenticator offers effortless two-factor authentication for your LastPass account and other supported apps. With one-tap verification and secure cloud backup, LastPass Authenticator gives you all the security, without any of the frustration. ADD MORE SECURITY Safeguard your LastPass account by requiring two-factor authentication codes when signing in. Two-factor authentication improves your digital security by protecting your account with an additional login step. Even if your password is compromised, your account can’t be accessed without the two-factor authentication code. You can even mark a device as “trusted”, so you won’t be prompted for codes on that device while your account remains protected by two-factor authentication. TURNING IT ON To turn on LastPass Authenticator for your LastPass account: 1. Download LastPass Authenticator to your mobile device. 2. Log in to LastPass on your computer and launch “Account Settings” from your vault. 3. In “Multifactor Options”, edit LastPass Authenticator and view the barcode. 4. Scan the barcode with the LastPass Authenticator app. 5. Set your preferences and save your changes. LastPass Authenticator can also be turned on for any service or app that supports Google Authenticator or TOTP-based two-factor authentication. LOGGING IN To login to your LastPass account or other supported vendor service: 1. Open the app to generate a 6-digit, 30-second code OR approve/deny an automated push notification 2. Alternatively, send SMS code 3. Enter the code into the login prompt on your device OR hit approve/deny request FEATURES - Generates 6-digit codes every 30 seconds - Push notifications for one-tap approval - Free encrypted backup to restore your tokens on a new/reinstalled device - Support for SMS codes - Automated set-up via QR code - Support for LastPass accounts - Support for other TOTP-compatible services and apps (including any that support Google Authenticator) - Add multiple accounts}

Uso LastPass da almeno 15 anni. Non ho mai avuto problemi ma purtroppo il prezzo si è praticamente quadruplicato. Ho letto di diverse fughe di dati…quindi addio per altro gestore certificato GDPR

App works fine. Needs a dark mode icon. It’s been a long time since Apple introduced this, but still no update.

Syncing across devices takes days - literally. Adding accounts is cumbersome and often lost due to multiple device syncing. Use flow on authenticator is not intuitive and is not part of an ecosystem

The application, LastPass, is making “improvements” which are making the application appear to be less efficient and more aggravating. The application is becoming a bigger pain in the &&&& than the problems it’s supposed to protect against.

It’s made authentication fast, easy and more secure. Why did I wait so long?

1️⃣ is this a No-Go ? Portrait Upside-down Oriented Device Display support is UFL absent in LastPass Authenticator. 🟠 Depending on personal requirements and sensitivities, this might rise a No‑Go. ▫️ 2️⃣ LastPass Authenticator 🟠 vs. iPadOS Screen Orientations ::: To be as clear as possible here :: on e.g. an iPad-mini 6th Gen., → LastPass Authenticator 🟠 ~fails~ to present its display rotationally in line with the OS when – for whichever practical reason – the device and the OS are used Portrait-oriented but in the "upside-down" way ( as opposed to "standard" portrait orientation ). ▫️ 3️⃣ LastPass Authenticator 🟠 vs. Screen Orientation in Other Apps ::: With for whatever reason a practical arrangement where [a:] the device and [b:] the OS are in Upside-down Portrait Orientation (( where the one's positioning compensates the other, resulting ultimately in an upright view to the user's eyes )), well, in these circumstances most apps behave properly and make for an upright appearance to the user (e.g. Apple Notes, Calendar, Reminders, Pages, Numbers, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) – but unfortunately 🟠 LastPass Authenticator (thus far) in the given situation stubbornly holds on to the device's "primary" portrait orientation, consequently presenting itself upside-down to us. ▫️ 4️⃣ LastPass Authenticator 🟠 vs. other "misbehaving" apps ::: Reformulating the situation one more time :: whereas the user in the here described arrangement perceives overall OS output as normal and "upright", 🟠 LastPass Authenticator ( and admittedly a few other apps likewise, notably e.g. Brain Craft Ltd.'s GIF Maker ) → sadly make[s] appearance upside-down to the user's eyes, causing a pretty disturbing experience indeed – no matter what simple workaround a person might feel urged to bring to the table(t) in this matter. ▫️ 5️⃣ Bottom line ::: 🟠 LastPass Authenticator is subject to an Upside-down Portrait Orientation Display Shortcoming (UDPODS) on iPadOS ; something technically somehow fundamental is missing in this otherwise fantastic app. --- ♦︎ LastPass Authenticator v2.22.1 on iPadOS v18.5 ; ♦︎ 2025.05.21.Wd.13:53.iPm.

The extension does not work well, it’s very glitchy and a lot of times it does not work correctly. I do not like the fact that I always have to sign in. It does not have an automatic save password and login. There’s always problems when trying to create a password. I prefer ROBOFORM and its features. It’s not glitchy. The only great thing about this particular app is the fact that you can share passwords.
