Some foods aggravate inflammation, particularly highly processed high-sugar, high saturated fat Western foods, whereas others such as high-fiber, low-sugar, healthy-fat foods (eg, oily fish) are anti-inflammatory and lower the risk of inflammation.
This app bundle supports an anti-inflammatory diet. Use it to increase your fiber intake and lower your processed carb and saturated fat intake.
The apps will guide you to set your target daily intakes based on the US Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGA), 2020–2025 recommendation. These can be changed at any time.
The foods and amounts you eat can be recorded easily and quickly using the barcode scanner, speech recognition, or by favoriting foods and using the serving sizes provided, which can be changed at any time. Your progress towards your target daily intake will be visible immediately in real-time.
You can also view your progress over time on the Month view dashboard, and export food diaries into a spreadsheet for your own information or to share with healthcare providers.
The apps are curated and contain 328+ common (mainly healthy) foods and drinks and you can add your own branded and other foods and recipes at any time using the barcode scanner, voice recognition or the keyboard. All 212 plant foods and beverages in the database appear in green type to support users in eating 30+ plants a week for a healthy gut microbiome as recommended by experts.
