Iron plays a key role in distributing oxygen (energy) to all body tissues, and additional iron is needed during pregnancy. Iron deficiency results in a lack of energy and can damage heart and muscle. It is common among menstruating women, and also among vegetarians and vegans because fish and meat are rich sources of iron. Calcium is essential for healthy bones, muscles, heart, teeth, skin, hair and nails. If you're on a milk-free diet due to milk allergy or lactose intolerance or because you're vegan, or if you might become calcium deficient because you're on a weightloss diet or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use this app to track and control your calcium intake. Deficiency leads to weakened bones and teeth, which are then prone to fracture, dry skin, brittle hair and nails, and muscle cramps and spasms. Potassium and sodium play key roles in blood pressure — too much sodium increases it, a higher potassium intake decreases it. These apps allow you to control your daily iron, calcium, sodium and potassium intake. The apps provide guidance on setting your daily targets, which can be changes at any time. Watch your progress towards your target intake every day in real-time as you record your food and drink intake. You can view your progress over time on the Month view dashboard, and export your food diaries into a spreadsheet for your own information or to share with healthcare providers. Apple's HealthKit functionality is integrated in the app's user interface so you can share your data with Apple's Health app. You can also synchronize all data in the app with your other First Line Medical Communication Ltd healthy diet apps on your iPhones and iPads. The foods and amounts you eat can be recorded easily and quickly using speech recognition or by favoriting foods and using the serving sizes provided, which are mainly those suggested by USDA Food Data Central (you can change to your serving sizes if different at any time). The app is curated and contains 325+ common (mainly healthy) foods and drinks and the user can add their own branded and other foods and recipes at any time. This means the apps do not require access to the Internet, and do not collect any of your data or required additional payments. Also useful nutritional information via the Info tab. The interfaces are quick and intuitive to navigate, but it can be useful to familiarise yourself with the full functionality of the apps by touching the icons, words, and bars on every screen and swiping the top gray bar left and right on the Tracker screen.}
