An invaluable toolkit to support a healthy weight diet, providing the ability to set daily targets for, and to track, key nutrients contributing to a healthy weight. One-off fee. Free updates. Use barcode or database. No ads. No data collected. Synchronize the apps so you only need to input data to one app and the data will be shared with all First Line Medical Communications nutrient counter apps. Share with Apple's Health app.
The apps will guide you to set and customise your own targets based on the US Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2020-2025. You can change your targets at any time. Set your daily target calories, protein, fiber, carb, and saturated fat based on the information provided in the apps on the Settings screen so your diet meets your healthy weight goals, eg:
1. For weightloss alone—low calorie, carb & saturated fat targets; high fiber & protein targets
2. For healthy gut bacteria (microbiome) to protect from or manage obesity-related disease such as metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, cancer, inflammatory disease, brain diseases, and mental health illnesses—high fiber target, low carb & saturated fat targets (ie. an anti-inflammatory diet)
3. To increase or maintain muscle mass—high protein target
The foods and amounts you eat can be recorded easily and quickly using the barcode scanner, speech recognition (touch the microphone icon), or by favoriting foods and using the serving sizes provided. The serving sizes are mainly those suggested by USDA Food Data Central, but can be changed at any time. Your progress towards your target daily intake will be visible immediately in real-time.
You can also view your progress over time on the Month view dashboard, and export food diaries and calorie intake into a spreadsheet for your own information or to share with healthcare providers.
The apps have a curated database containing 328 common (mainly healthy) foods and drinks and you can add your own branded and other foods and recipes at any time. All 212 plant foods and beverages in this database appear in green type to help users consume the 30+ different types plant per week for a healthy gut microbiome, as recommended by experts.}
