It use to work perfectly like clockwork. Even though the sensor is in the correct location and connected. It’s always during the last 4 days or so when I’ll get a notification that I need to scan the sensor. When I do I get another notification that claims it runs self tests for quality and safety but and it will continue to work as expected and to try again in 10 mins. This is usually after it goes all the way down and claims I’m having a big hypo reaction but finger prick tests show otherwise and that it’s in range from multiple testers I have. Then it never shows and fails. It’s connected to my iPhone at all times. This has been happening since a few months ago and there’s nothing I can do about it. I need to purchase another until I get sent a new one or just rely upon finger tests and I’m on insulin. Please assist. Seems like a batch issue of some kind. It’s the plus sensors that have been having these same issues on different machines phones to boot. Latest app update did nothing to fix this issue. I may consider another product if this continues as they are not cheap.

Just thought I would update my review, we are nearly 4 months into iOS 26, I still haven’t been able to update due to sensor connectivity, according to Apple tech support, there will be only one more security patch for iOS 18, I will then need to update to iOS 26 and loose my realtime blood glucose readings, I really do think your customers deserve better, if anyone out there has a legal background, would it be possible for the community to raise a class action, on the grounds of not fit for purpose, medical device. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Regards Simon Just a quick update to my last review, I didn’t think this device could get any worse but it has. Sensor quality is shocking, only one out of 3 actually work, incompatibility with iOS 26 (not surprised ), if anyone out there would be interested in taking legal action against this company, I am more than welcome to hear from you. They are not taking our health seriously and putting a lot of people in danger. Last review below I have been using this device for nearly 12 months and have had problems with the sensor loosing the connection to my iPhone whenever I replace a new sensor, I have to delete the app and go through the time consuming process of reconfiguring all the settings. Things have gotten worse with the latest iOS 18.4 update, the sensor constantly looses the Bluetooth connection and I have to scan manually, no amount of reinstalling the app seems to make any difference. I cannot believe a company who produces a medical device for diabetic patients, which is recommended by the NHS, cannot get the software/app correctly functioning for iOS updates. This is a major issue and a cause of stress for the patient. After reading other comments I am obviously not the only one with this issue. Something needs to be done.

Still signal lost fix it ! Application does not run in the background, other developers applications work in background. The application needs to be open for the transfer of data and alarms. When application is closed there is no Bluetooth connection. Application has no widgets. Also there is no watch application, it would be nice to see current live glucose levels on the watch or widget. I use this application because I have no choice. Come on developers address these issues.

On adding a new sensor it kept reverting to 1hr warm up phase. On contactless by support this app is not compatible with the latest iOS and they had to send me out a new sensor and separate reader… when will there be an update ???

App has not worked with my IPhone since August when IOS was updated to 18.6.2 Have spoke to customer services several times, very nice but no answer to this issue. Can use the reader in the meanwhile but Abbott should be on top of operating system updates, not lagging at least 6 months behind!

I’m using an iPhone 8+ and iPad Pro on iOS 16.7 and it just doesn’t seem to work with either. The app looses its connection constantly. It used to keep the connection only if I kept the app open and running 24 hours a day. Now it doesn’t even keep the connection even if I do that! It literally looses its connection every 5 minutes, EVERY 5 MINUTES! It’s just ridiculous and I am now speaking with my Consultant to see if we can use a different sensor product altogether as I am just sick of having to keep constantly re-scanning the app 7 times an hour, 24 hours a day! 🙄

Over the past few months I’ve had a number of faculty sensors. The customer service reps are very pleasant and have sent a replacement. The problem is that UPS take at least one week to deliver. I find this to be very poor service. How do others find UPS delivery? Can you sort this Abbott? Also why do you send me a return envelope with a 48 hour postage label with Royal Mail?
