The Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system. Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app. Dexcom Follow is the perfect companion to your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, connecting you to those nearest and dearest to you, even when they’re far away. Through secure wireless connections, Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow the glucose levels, trends and data of your loved ones. Whether you have a child who is in school, an elderly parent who lives on their own, or a spouse who is going on a business trip, Dexcom Follow is there to keep you connected and informed. With Dexcom Follow, you can: • Monitor your loved one’s glucose activity at school or anywhere they go. • Receive glucose information of up to 10 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones. • Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside the norm. Dexcom Follow is compatible with your Apple Watch. You can follow and view glucose information and trend graphs of up to ten people right on your wrist. Your watch can also alert you when sharer's glucose levels are outside the norm. Do not use Dexcom Follow for treatment decisions, such as insulin dosing. The Sharer should follow instructions on the CGM system. Customer Reviews This app store should not be used as your first point of contact to resolve technical or customer services issues. I’m using an iPhone and ever since updating to this version of follow both of my kids widgets are completely unusable, showing no information at all!! This is a huge problem for me and it is effecting how I am managing their sugar while they are away at school. The app on the Apple Watch has also changed and doesn’t fit the screen so now I can not see any information at all under 70.. the most urgent time to know what’s going on! Fix this app immediately please - I wish I never updated it and now I can’t go back.

The widget is no longer working and just displays a blank screen. Tried restarting, reinstalling, and resending a Follow invite with no change. Moved to a 3rd party app that’s working fine since the widget was the main reason for me using Follow.

Update: I find I remarkable how long it’s taking to get this issue fixed. People depend on this app. My daughter is 5 and can’t monitor her blood glucose by herself. She is completely dependent on the adults around her to be monitoring her at all time. Absolutely ridiculous you people can’t get this fixed. It’s criminal. Your purpose is solely to provide this service and you are failing. Here’s to hoping someone does a little work this week and gets this app fixed. Original post: The last two weeks the widget has stopped working and is always blank. It never refreshes even after I delete it or reboot my phone. Useless.

The Dexcom app is one of the most frustrating and unreliable apps I’ve ever had to depend on. The user experience feels outdated, cluttered, and unintuitive. Constant bugs, crashes, and connection issues make it nearly impossible to trust. This is supposed to be an app people rely on for their health and safety. Notifications fail to alert at critical times, sensors drop without warning, and Bluetooth connections randomly disconnect. Updates seem to fix one issue only to break something else. The interface hasn’t evolved with modern app standards and feels like it’s built on old technology that can’t keep up with what’s required for real-time monitoring. For an app that people’s lives literally depend on, this level of instability is unacceptable. Dexcom needs to seriously invest in rebuilding this app from the ground up with a focus on reliability, usability, and modern performance standards.

How many life-threatening situations have the bugs in this app caused, I wonder? All the sudden, no more alarm sounds ring when blood sugar falls below a set threshold. All settings are fine. I begin to wonder if the only thing they are taking care of is that they have a good lawyer.

Why would there be a graph chart without a scale or value lines to accurately read said chart. Mind blowing and of not much historic readings value.

The Home Screen widget used to work alright before. It would go blank every now and then but if I clicked on it, it would usually populate. Now it doesn’t even work. I’ve tried deleting and replacing it, entering the settings differently. It just straight up stopped working now. Honestly not surprised with this app being the way it is anyway.

This “new” app has taken away so much functionality. Where is the widget?! Notifications are hit or miss most of the time I do not get them. Really scary this is what I have to rely on to help my loved one mange his diabetes.

After updating to ios26 the app no longer works on both ends. It says no data, we have already called dexcom support and the issue didn’t get fixed. Please update this to support the new Apple update. My teenager has hypoglycemia unawareness , when his sugar is low he doesn’t feel it so we depend on the dexcom app
