Only use this app if you have the Dexcom G6 or G6 Pro CGM Systems. Always know your glucose number and where it’s heading with the Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Systems –indicated for diabetes treatment decisions with zero fingersticks and no calibration.* Before you start making treatment decisions with your G6 or G6 Pro, work with your healthcare provider to learn how. *Fingersticks required for diabetes management decisions if symptoms do not match readings. Always know your glucose number with just a quick glance at your compatible smartphone or smartwatch. For a list of compatible devices visit www.dexcom.com/compatibility. Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro provide real-time glucose readings for patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes every five minutes. Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro are indicated for children, age 2 years and older. The Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Systems provide personalized trend alerts on your smart device and let you see when your glucose levels are going too low, or too high, so you can better manage your diabetes. The Alert Schedule** feature lets you schedule and customize a second set of alerts. Custom alert sounds are available, including a Vibrate-Only option on the phone for glucose alerts. The only exception is the Urgent Low Alarm, which you can’t turn off. The Always Sound** setting, which is on by default, allows you to receive certain Dexcom CGM Alerts even if your phone sound is off, set to vibrate, or in Do Not Disturb mode. This allows you to silence calls or texts but still receive audible CGM Alarm and Alerts, including the Urgent Low Alarm, Low and High Glucose alerts, Urgent Low Soon Alert**, and Rise and Fall Rate alerts**. A Home screen icon shows you if your Alerts will sound or not. For safety, the Urgent Low Alarm and three alerts can’t be silenced: Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped. Other features: • Share** your glucose data with up to ten followers in real time. Followers can monitor your glucose data and trends in real time on their compatible smart device with the Dexcom Follow** app. Share and Follow functions require an internet connection • Health app access so you can share retrospective glucose data with third party apps • Today View widget allows you to view your glucose data on the lock screen of your smart device • Add a shortcut to Siri to run by asking Siri to read your current glucose value, using a custom phrase **Not available on Dexcom G6 Pro CGM System Apple Watch View your glucose information, trend graph, and alerts and alarm right from your wrist with the Dexcom G6 Apple Watch app. Watches require compatible smart device to use app. Customer Reviews This app store should not be used as your first point of contact to resolve technical or customer services issues. Numbers on the app seemed off so I tested with finger stick. App said 210, finger stick said 145 and 150. So I calibrated the app to these numbers but the app keeps showing 180+ So I calibrated a couple more times but the app keeps displaying 180+. WTH are you guys doing with the app that doesn't respect the numbers you manually add for calibration?

Suddenly I can no longer share to my family my blood sugars. I live alone and it keeps saying no internet. I suspect this is due to new iOS update. I others have same issue.

OK so most apps now a days have a dark mode. Some people's eyes can't handle all the screen time required for diabetes. Add a dark mode! Adding my diabetic eyes can't handle your app. Diabetic 54 years. Need a dark mode.

I keep my phone on silent and do not like when the app beeps LOUDLY. I wouldn’t care if I was actually wearing a sensor or transmitter but when it beeps loudly to tell me sensor failed and I already took off the sensor because it was expired and I completely closed out of the app to stop the blaring beeps at work it’s super annoying! It works great for its purpose but you should be able to stop or at least silence the beeping when you are not wearing a sensor and especially if you close all the way out of the app totally. I have to delete the app or move my phone to the other side of my house to sleep!

Not sure when they changed this but now the app absolutely will not let you continue until you change your notification settings for the app to allow Critical Notifications that happen even when you have notifications silenced, sleep mode on, etc. I get why someone might choose to enable that if they only use a CGM with their phone but blocking you from using the app until you enable that permission is incredibly intrusive. I thought it was bad enough when they started hassling you log in every time you open the app. App also has a lot of small bugs like a banner across the top saying “notifications are turned off” even though they aren’t, a red “1” bubble on the sharing button and the app telling me that I don’t have internet access even after getting on WiFi and checking in Safari. And I recently tried the home screen widget. The values are delayed, so if you feel like you are going low, you have to tap to see the latest readings in the app, so what’s the point. This whole app feels so amateur.

It would be great if this was available for iPad too. I’ve misplaced my phone and am unable to get readings

Huge disappointment & frustrating !! I find it nearly impossible to know the Apple ipad is not compatible. For what I pay for the monthly Dexcom G6 supplies & cannot use it with my I pad, I will have to switch to the Freestyle CGM.

The new iPhone update iOS 26 has, for some reason, made this practically unreliable and unusable. It is rarely giving me accurate readings which is a huge problem when it is synced to my omnipod pump. It will annoyingly beep at me that I am low when I know for a fact I am not. I can feel that I am okay, but even when I can take out my regular tester it has me reading a regular blood sugar or even a high blood sugar. To have it read LOW when in fact I am a bit over 200 is a major problem. It seems like a huge liability in the event that my dexcom tells my pump one thing and misdiagnosis to give me insulin and I end up crashing. I also can’t risk wasting supplies either since for whatever reason you only allow one extra delivery a year or whatever. This is so frustrating. I am fairly active so if I am on a jog for around an hour or so, I CANNOT have this sending my pump incorrect numbers. Angry, annoyed, and honestly a bit fearful of this sending my pump wrong details.
