The new Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system. Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app. Dexcom Follow works seamlessly with your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, giving you visibility into their glucose data, even when they’re far away. Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow their glucose levels, trends and data right from the app. Whether your child is in school, your parent lives independently, or your partner is traveling, Dexcom Follow helps you stay connected and informed. With Dexcom Follow, you can: • Remotely monitor your loved one’s glucose at a glance from your phone or Apple Watch† • Receive glucose information of up to 25 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones – if you know multiple people with diabetes • Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside of target range }

For heavens sake make the tones customizable. And, if I have the app open, why is the tone still going off. The obnoxious tone in this new app is ridiculous. I had the same frustration with the last version but at least the tone was less obnoxious. Though grateful to be able to follow glucose levels, neither app is anything special. So much more potential. Custom tones, stats and analytics please. Deleted!

This app lacks widgets and the watch app crashes on launch. Use the old follow app instead. If you only use the app on iPhone and don’t need a widget, it works fine.

This app has been buggy since the last update. I have notifications turned on (both in phone settings and the app), volume turned up. Nothing, not even when an ultra-low number hits. I need to be able to hear these alerts. Please fix this.

First, thank you for this app. Being able to watch my daughter remotely allows me to sleep through the night. Now for the issues with this new app release. I depend on this app to watch over my daughter. Since the most recent update, the Apple Watch app will not open and just crashes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled many times, even (coincidentally) upgraded my phone and it’s still not working. Apple Watch Ultra 2, but looking at the reviews it seems that many others are having the same problems. 2nd, your phone compatibility on your website shows that iOS 26.1 is supported and yet every time I have reinstalled this app, trying to fix the above issue, it says my OS isn’t compatible. 3rd, with this most recent update, why can’t I see the specific numbers when bg is high and instead it just says “high”? This is a large step backward when I’m trying to make correction decisions. Finally, the old version updated bg numbers over a minute faster on refreshes. Why does this new/improved version take so much longer to update than the old app?

Clean and simple for monitoring my daughter’s glucose remotely when used on my iPhone. On the Apple Watch however the app crashes whenever I try to open it. In addition, it can’t be added to a sub watch face like the old Follow app so I kept that older app on the watch. I wouldn’t recommend this app until you fix it. I’m using an iPhone Pro max with latest iOS and series 10 Apple Watch.

Overall the app works as intended but I would prefer to have a widget for my Home Screen.

The previous Dexcom follow app had a Home Screen widget and we were forced to “upgrade” to this app but you’re missing that core functionality. Please bring the widget to this app to close the gap.

I became aware of the follow app at least six months ago and was very happy with how it worked both on my phone and on my Apple Watch. It still works fine on my iPhone. Soon after the Follow App changed to Dexcom Follow it became much slower on my Apple Watch. About a month ago, the app stopped working on my Apple Watch. When I tap it, it comes up and spins a short time and the full screen of apps comes up again. I have called the help number 3 times and did all they suggested but nothing has made it work. I’m wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if there is a way to fix it.
