Program participation is by invitation only. If you’re enrolled in the Dexcom Glucose Program and have questions about accessing the app, contact your coach. The Dexcom G6 Glucose Program Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (Dexcom Glucose Program System) is a real time, continuous glucose monitoring device indicated for the management of diabetes in persons age 2 years and older. The Dexcom Glucose Program System is intended to replace fingerstick blood glucose testing for diabetes treatment decisions for persons with diabetes who are not at significant risk of severe hypoglycemia. Interpretation of the Dexcom Glucose Program System results should be based on the glucose trends and several sequential sensor readings over time. The Dexcom Glucose Program System also aids in the detection of episodes of hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, facilitating long-term therapy adjustments. The Dexcom Glucose Program System is also intended to autonomously communicate with digitally connected devices. The Dexcom Glucose Program System can be used alone or in conjunction with these digitally connected devices or services for the purpose of managing diabetes. Compatibility The Dexcom Glucose Program App is compatible with select iOS devices only. Visit Dexcom.com/compatibility for more information. To put it simply...I hate the Level 2 Dexcom Glucose App. Unfortunately, I will be calling to opt out of the Level 2 program. There are no alarms to warn me when my glucose has fallen into dangerous levels. That is the primary reason that I use a Dexcom. In addition, there is no place to enter my insulin or carbs. I don’t need multiple apps to manage, as I don’t have that kind of time or energy. In addition, the app only provides 12 hours of data. If I want an insight report I have to request it from my coach. I need to be in control of my diabetes... not a coach. I should have access to my data at all times. I’m truly disappointed. This has the potential of being a wonderful program for diabetics. Please figure out a way to integrate Level 2 with the Dexcom G6 App or improve your version.

I don’t understand why this app is required for participation in the levels 2 program. The absolutely horrible user interface, and the lack of 90% of the functionality of the existing G6 app, means the Dexcom G6 is a flash glucose monitor not a continuous glucose monitor, making it less functional than the Libre 2. No alarms? NO ALARMS! People are going to end up hospitalized or dead because of the apps lack of support for something available in another version of the software from the same developer. The other app provides data to my Endocronologist. They can check my numbers and make recommendations. This version does not. I can send them a snapshot at the time of a visit, but real time sync has been removed in this version of the software. Removed, as it exists in the other software. My sensor is about to expire. I have gotten no notification. Maybe I should have gone into the app and check myself, except THAT BASIC INFORMATION IS NOT AVAILABLE in this app. Start date? Nope. End date? Nope. This is an iOS app. Can I use widgets? No. Apple Watch complication? No. Siri integration so I can simply ask my glucose levels? No. All functionally available in the other app. Yes. The fact that the app also doesn’t work with the Dexcom Clarity app means I can no longer get reports of any real significance from my numbers. Want to know when your spikes happen? How often you can been in range over the last 2,7,39 days, etc? Nope. I simply don’t understand the requirement to use a stripped down receiver like this vs the existing software by YOUR COMPANY.

Used the app with Level2 program and it ran great. Was able to turn my phone landscape and see up to a week of readings on my blood sugar. Level2 support has also been really great and helpful as well

I’ve noticed if I open other apps this Dexcom warns you CGM app is not working. It would work great if the developers came up with concept of a Fitbit. My Fitbit never loses cono no matter what is running in the background. But as soon as I open some other app, that’s what happens. I agree on another comment I read. “Doesn’t play well with others” apps!

I have an iPhone 7+. Connection is not dependable. With the phone within a foot of the transmitter, signal is lost. I am trying to reinstall the app to see if that will help. I have had the unit for 5 days now.

Got this under a program with my insurance. For some reason, they Dexcom made a special version that doesn't let you integrate with Apple health and seems to erase your data after a week. If I’m connecting a device my body, I should be able to retrieve the information that comes out of it (like the non-insurance supported version). I hate to say it, but I might discontinue using this regardless if my insurance company is paying for it. Keeping my own medical information from me is wrong.

I was offered a CGM by my insurance company and thought it would be the solution to all of my problems. I really welcomed the opportunity to have a continuous read out of my blood sugar and attempt to figure out why I couldn’t get my A1 C down. However, using this program and my first transmitter which would not stay connected to Bluetooth I determined that I had a bad transmitter... or so I thought. I got a new transmitter and only had moderately better results. I frequently have to turn off and back on my iPhone, and this morning after three days of cycling through it and forgetting the Bluetooth device and waiting for it to pair again, it will not connect at all. The CGM concept is awesome, and in the three days that it worked I have learned a lot. However the frustration with having this thing constantly disconnecting and losing the signal even though I have it in my pocket less than a foot away from the CGM is extremely frustrating and I am considering discontinuing its use. The insurance company also got me a Fitbit which connects through Bluetooth and it connects instantly and stays connected so I don’t know why the CGM in this program have such a problem.

Was sent the G6 by my insurance company and inadvertently downloaded the regular G6 app without realizing I was on the wrong app until I called Level 2 health. After using the actual G2 app and switching over to the glucose program app I am seriously considering discontinuing using the G6 through this program. It is leaking so many features that the other app has and the worse part is my numbers are off anywhere from 30 to 50 point so I continue to finger stick and sink my numbers. And not being able to use the glance app on my Fitbit versa to see my numbers is beyond disappointing. Absolutely love the G6 monitor but beyond disappointed with the glucose program app!!

I love everything about the system except they are only compatible Fitbit, I already own an Apple Watch and don’t want to perches another device. It would be so awesome to be able to look at my wrist to check my glucose. Please please make a apple watch app
