While i like the idea of the shared on demand bus service, the implementation is not ideal. Many times the bus drivers ruined my day by not stopping or coming to a different place than set on the map and cancelling the order. The wait is long as well, usually 30 minutes.

TL;DR: don’t plan your route on this service. Always assume you’re going to be late and sweaty. The algorithm is broken. Would not insert pickups on an on-going route, so it’s not uncommon to have the bus you booked pass you before you to come back 10 mins later. Complains of seat availability yet you will never see a bus more than 50% full, most of the times you’d be riding alone. ETAs are unreliable and you can’t plan for it at all. Too often does it tell me the Link would arrive 5 to 10 minutes after the scheduled bus, only to do so significantly earlier. And of course drivers -save for a handful of thoughtful ones- wouldn’t wait until you arrive and they would take off before you do, with the app acting as if it was your fault despite being there on time. More often, ETAs are underestimated by up to 30 minutes, and considering the humidity and heat, and how bus stops in the regions where Link operates aren’t as equipped as downtown ones (most don’t even have benches), this means you’ll often end up having to suffer waiting in practically a sauna (if you’re lucky enough to find shade). The app itself doesn’t perform well. UX needs work, weird breaking bugs requiring reinstallation of the app, and sometimes strange pickup locations that send you a hundred meters away from where the driver would arrive.

it’s too hard to book, even if you will start to book at 6am when their operation start. It’s always shows busy or full but some ADL bus pass by without any passenger

Scope/zone is very limited to khalifa city, yas island. Useless app for people in mussafa mbz or within abu dhabi city. It always say “Out of zone”

Takes ages to get a booking. Youll have to try more than half an hour to get a booking which will arrive after 40mins. Wish they could improve the booking system

mostly during morning its difficult to book the ride. most of the time it we don’t get our request accepted and in app it shows due to heavy demand the ride couldn’t be booked. travel is comfortable, on time( sometimes 2 to 4 mins may get delayed) but overall it’s good if the booking gets accepted.
