Every time I try to get a ride it says there’s no one available, I can’t book a ride or plan a ride. They need more drivers in town. I miss the actual old bus schedule. This used to be convenient but the buses that showed up every hour on the hour all around town was way more convenient than this. Now there’s not a single bus stop on the east side for us. Closest one is 8 blocks from me with 2 young kids, ha. That’s a joke right there. You have to schedule a ride a day or so in advance now, there’s no last minute ride if somehow you need a quick ride with no money if your ride fell through. Yeah you can take a cab if you have the money, they’ve shared this enough times now but for the ones that can’t, this is a very inconvenience for some. I want the actual city bus back

This used to work like magic in 2021. You could get a ride at any time of day and there would consistently be drivers within 5-10 mins from you, and on the odd occasion you would come across instances where you had to wait around 30 minutes. Now you can sit there refreshing the page for 30 minutes straight, trying to get a ride somewhere, and it will constantly just say “high demand” to you, as if it is at all plausible that all of your cars are filled for 30 minutes straight. You will also have to go somewhere that is literally a 10 minute drive away, and the driver will somehow take 30 minutes to get there, and even if you can get a ride, from Grimsby to wherever for example, they will make a driver come pick you up from Smithville, with no other options, even though there will be multiple empty NRT cars driving past you while you wait. This has become an unreliable mess, and it is an absolute joke how a service that is paid money to give people car rides throughout the Niagara region, cannot even get a car to your door 80% of the time, and if they can get one, they will show up 30-40 minutes later, then drive like a turtle along the backroads to make your drive astronomically longer than it should be, which will result in you inevitably being late if you have to make it anywhere in haste. Unless you have all the time in the world, and don’t have to make it somewhere in an allotted time, this app is a horrendous piece of garbage.

Used to work good for me but now whenever I try to get a ride it’s always says high demand, y’all need to do your job

The business idea is great, execution, not so much…even when you schedule in advance. It’s difficult to get the pick up time you actually want…there is a half hour window…your confirmed time always seems to land towards the later time. Then they are 15 min late beyond that?? They are not Uber…maybe with a modest price increase to achieve more accuracy & reliability would go a long way for NRT. App is also a bit slow and tends to stall. Please accept as constructive criticism…saved you the cost of a consultant right ;).

It’s the worst app and system I’ve ever used. It used to be hard to book a ride I would try million times to be able to book a ride which arrives in 40 minutes or more! Now even that’s not possible! I am not able to book a ride at all!!! I tried different times, different weather, tried calling the costumer service to be able to book but it’s not working! Niagara region needs an efficient public transit system! This is not working at all!

Can’t log In at all anymore and yet I put the correct username and password in and still won’t work so I had clicked forgot password so it can send me a confirmation code to enter and reset. Well I had gotten my confirmation code although it still says incorrect password when putting the code it correctly many times that they had sent me. It’s not like my email had ever changed so my user name it correct and there system is the problem. Hopefully they fix this soon.

Getting a ride can be extremely difficult. The time it takes to get to you can be anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, or completely unavailable. From the point of when you are able to obtain a ride, sometimes there will be multiple pick ups on the way to your destination. Once I’d spent 2 hours in an NRT to get to my house which was 10 minutes away from my pick up. On top of this issue, sometimes the app will glitch out and won’t let the user cancel rides or book new ones. If you’re riding on your own this is a big issue which could lead you stranded.

most often the nrt drivers are nice, but sometimes you get one that is a total jerk, i don't know if it is the app that tells them who to drop off first or pick up or whatever but the order it does it in is terrible, i once was picked up from work in old town niagara on the lake, trying to go home, and i passed by my work again 3 times in the nrt. i spent 40 minutes in what is a 5 minute car ride. also sometimes you will order an nrt and it will say it is 11 minutes away, and then 10 minutes look back at the app and it will still be 10 minutes away. or even more time then it initially said. most of the time if u try to cancel it after this it will charge your account three dollars because the driver was already on their way... this sucks because an uber or a taxi is way to expensive and we don't have a bussing system or any other public transport in niagara on the lake, but since it is so unreliable i have been late to work or even just spending an hour driving around for no reason. I would love to use nrt if they fixed these things but it is so frustrating trying to get anywhere with one. Honestly i recommend getting an uber instead, 15 dollars for a 5 minute trip or an hour wasted of your time.. unsatisfied af

Either nrt is deleting review or people aren’t using the app enough cause the nrt app is terrible. It always tells me high demand and to try again later, meanwhile I’ve been trying for an hour. Even if you book ahead it doesn’t matter, the driver is usually always late. I’ve emailed nrt and called them several times about my issue and they seem to just not care at all. They just give me sweet talk and say they’re gonna change it and they never end up doing it. All and all the nrt app is TERRIBLE, nice drivers and all but the app is just terrible.
